Line Breaker said:Just don't see how McNabb could be the MVP.
He often misses wide open recievers by a couple of yards and lets be honest Philly has no Wr's either. Mitchell and Pinkston????? Come one we know that Pinkstonn won't catch anything and with the focus that Mitchell brought on himself.
NE stopped the Colts and Steelers powerful recievers and Philly's WR arent even in the same breath as those two.
Don't forget Greg Lewis is out and LJ Smith is pretty good.
The only way McNabb wins MVP is if he rushes for 2 TD's and noone on NE offense does anything productive. Oh yeah, Philly has to win the game also.
I think if TO plays, McNabb will try to force a couple his way and that will lead to at least one interception.

Look for the Eagles Donovan McNabb to have a SUPER performance in Super Bowl 39!!!
The Philadelphian has over 20 years of waiting for the Eagles to become Super Bowl Champions!!! It's finally time to celebrate!

hardcorecap said:Maybe you are talking about the Mcnabb of past years. I have watched alot of him this year, and to me he is in the top 3 qb's of this season, with Brady and Peyton.. McNabb hasnt thrown a INT in the playoffs yet, and his decision making has been very impressive. Thrown in the fact that he is very mobile in the pocket, and can run the ball for a first down when needed, and he might be the best, all around QB in the league. Im no Eagles fan, but he just always seems to impress me, the way Brady does too.
I think McNabb will have a great game. If his offensive line gives him time to make decisions, why cant the Eagles win. The Falcons have a very good D, and Philly's O-line gave McNabb time to look and pick apart their D. Im sorry but the Pats DB's with the exception of Harrison, are mediocre at best. Eagles could very easily pass for 300 plus yards here. Patriots always dominate in cold games, and this one will be above 30 degrees I assume.
I usaully dont worry about a spread, but in this game, as of right now, I cant lay 7 with the Patriots.
